These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FirstClassJob website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
FirstClassJob provides AI-assisted tools for resume analysis, resume tailoring, cover-letter drafting, job discovery, application tracking, and interview practice. The Service uses third-party artificial-intelligence providers to process your inputs and generate suggestions.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
The Service offers a free tier and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Elite) with monthly usage allowances. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may change on prospective renewals with prior notice.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable. Usage allowances reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over.
Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers; your use of those services is subject to their terms.
The Service generates suggestions, rewrites, scores, and other output using artificial intelligence. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all output before relying on or submitting it, including ensuring that any resume or application is truthful and accurate.
FirstClassJob does not guarantee any particular result, including but not limited to interviews, job offers, employment, salary, relocation, or visa outcomes. Scores and match indicators are estimates for guidance only and are not assurances of any outcome.
You must not use the Service to create false, misleading, or fraudulent statements about your qualifications, identity, or experience.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your resume, profile data, and job descriptions) ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service, including transmitting it to our AI sub-processors to generate output for you.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose; (b) upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law; (d) infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; (e) submit another person’s personal data without a lawful basis; or (f) use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory.
The Service, including its software, design, text, and trademarks, is owned by FirstClassJob or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights. You may not use our name or marks without prior written permission.
The Service integrates third-party services (including AI providers, authentication providers, and payment processors). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRSTCLASSJOB AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FirstClassJob and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; clauses that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date or by email). Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The specific governing law and dispute-resolution venue will be confirmed upon the company’s incorporation; nothing here waives any non-waivable rights you have under your local consumer-protection law.
